Rat on:
Chivarse de alguien. ex. "The teacher found out because you ratted on me!" (¡El maestro se enteró porque te chivaste de mi!)

Read up on:
Leer sobre algo. Ponerse al tanto de algo. ex. "I wanted to read up on Philadelphia before my trip." (Quería leer sobre Philadephia antes de mi viaje.)

Read too much into (sth):
To read too much into (a situation) = Dar demasiado importancia (a una situación) ex. "Don't read too much into what she said. I'm sure she was only kidding." (No des demasiado importancia a lo que dijo. Estoy seguro de que sólo estaba bromeando.)

Rinse out:
Enjuagar.
ex. "Rinse out that kettle before you fill it with water." (Enjuaga la pava antes de llenarla con agua.)

Rip off:
Estafar.
ex. "Don't go into that store. The owner always tries to rip everyone off." (No vayas a esa tienda. El dueño siempre trata de estafar a todos.)

Roll in:
Llegar/venir a raudales.
ex. "He thinks that if he opens a restaurant, the money will roll in." (Piensa que si abre un restaurant, el dinero va a venir a raudales.)
Llegar.
ex. "They rolled into Morelia." (Llegaron a Morelia.)

Rough up:
Darle una paliza a alguien.
ex. "The two men roughed him up." (Los dos hombres le dieron una paliza.)

Rub off on (someone):
Pegársele.
ex. "His love of jazz has rubbed off on me." (Su pasión por el jazz se me pegó.)

Rule out:
Eliminar.
ex. "We can't rule out revenge as a possible motive for the attack." (No podemos eliminar la venganza como un posible motivo del ataque.)

Run away:
Huirse.
ex. "He ran away from home when he was 16." (Se huyó de casa cuando tenía 16 años.)

Run (something) by (someone):

ex. "Bill Clinton ran for president twice, and both times he was elected." (Bill Clinton se presentó a presidente dos veces, y ambas veces lo eligieron.)

Run into:
Toparse con (algo/alguien).
ex. "I ran into your sister yesterday" (Me topé con tu hermana ayer.)

Run off:
Huirse.
ex. "They ran off without paying the bill." (Se huyeron sin pagar la cuenta.)

Run out of:
Quedarse sin (algo).
ex. "I ran out of gas on the way to my aunt's house." (Me quedé sin gasolina en camino a la casa de mi tía.)
